"Wissol Group" has launched its second strategic multifunctional infrastructure following the "Recreation and Service Complex" in Gori. Located on the high-speed highway between Zestafon and Kutaisi, in the Argveta village area, this new complex ensures complete travel comfort for passengers traveling along the transit route or in the western part of the country. The Prime Minister of Georgia inaugurated the complex, with notable attendees including Mamuka Bakhtadze, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava, as well as other officials and representatives from international brands.
"Wissol Group" has made a substantial investment in the creation of the "Recreation and Service Complex," which spans 27,068 sq.m. This development has generated approximately 200 jobs. In addition to the group's subsidiary facilities—"Wissol," "Smart," "Wendy's," and "Dunkin'"—the complex features a car service corner, an electric vehicle charging station, a tourism information center named "Lazika," a "Byblos" store, a "TBC" bank, and a "Pharmadepo" pharmacy. The complex also includes a dedicated parking area for trucks, buses, and cars.
"The "Recreation and Service Complex" located on the newly built section of the high-speed highway near the village of Argveta represents one of the largest and most significant projects undertaken by "Wissol Group" since the Gori facility. As Georgia increasingly attracts foreign tourists and shipping companies, this complex—featuring multinational brands and offering a range of essential services in one location—greatly enhances the comfort and enjoyment of their journeys within and through the country. The development of such infrastructure is strategically vital for promoting tourism, and we are proud that "Wissol Group" is contributing to the sustainable development of Georgia's economy," says Soso Pkhakadze, President of "Wissol Group".
The new "Recreation and Service Complex" by "Wissol Group" offers an exceptional range of amenities for passengers. This includes a wide selection of high-quality fuel, an electric vehicle charging station developed in collaboration with "I-Space," a supermarket with a diverse array of Georgian and imported products, and a café serving delicious culinary delights, pastries, and bread. Additionally, American restaurants feature dishes prepared with Georgian ingredients and a distinctive menu. The complex also provides a tourist information corner, a selection of books for travel reading, car service, a bank, and a pharmacy—all within a single, convenient space.
In 2011, "Wissol Group" established the first "Rest and Service Complex" on the Gori section of the high-speed highway. The complex was later recognized by the British publication "Telegraph" as one of the top three gas stations with the best design in the world.
